About us:
Ujima ist Swahili and represents collective work and responsibility and has its origin in the seven principles of the African Kwanzaa celebration.
Ujima Duesseldorf is a group of black and white parents and children, everyone with african, afro-american, afro-caribbean roots is most welcome.
We would like to set up a social network and bring people together. We talk about partnership, education, multi-lingualism, discrimination but also about literature, films, music, travelling and much more. We enjoy cooking, organise family outings and barbecues.
Our group meets every Saturday of each month at the efa-Stadtteiltreff Duesseldorf-Derendorf.
Feel free to join us and enjoy ethnic cuisine, African/Latin music and African culture.
